This policy describes how Kool Telecom (“Kooltel”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the kool.tel short-link service. It applies only to this domain. Our main corporate privacy policy is published at kooltel.com.
What kool.tel does
kool.tel resolves URLs of the form
kool.tel/m/<code> to media attachments
(images, audio, or documents) that a Kooltel business customer
has sent through our SMS or MMS platform. kool.tel has no user
accounts and no login.
What we collect
- Standard web server request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, URL requested, HTTP status, bytes returned). These are retained for a limited period for security, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics.
- The short-link code contained in the URL path. This code identifies the specific media attachment being requested.
What we do not do
- We do not set advertising cookies on this domain.
- We do not embed third-party trackers or analytics beacons in the landing pages.
- We do not sell or share request logs with third parties for marketing.
Media attachments
The content of the media files served through
/m/<code> is authored by the Kooltel
business customer who sent the message. Those files are
governed by the business customer’s own privacy
practices and by the contract between them and Kooltel.
Children
kool.tel is a delivery mechanism for messages sent by adult business customers. It is not directed to children.
Your choices
If you received an unwanted message containing a
kool.tel/m/… link, you can
report the abuse and we will
investigate the sender. You can also reply STOP
to the SMS sender to opt out of further messages from that
Kooltel customer.
